graphics card upgrade

Help can anyone tell me if it's possible to upgrade the graphics card in my computer?? It's a sony vaio vgc-la with a nvidia geforce go 7400 card. Cheers

It's a laptop.

The short answer is: no.
The long answer is: Possibly, but even if the laptop is using MXM cards for the graphics adapter they're hard to get hold of, tricky to make work (BIOS both laptop and video issues) and bloody expensive for what you get. Thus, realistically, no.

Hi, it's not a laptop although i guess it uses a laptop card. It's one of there media pc's.

If it's a 19" all-in-one unit, similar in nature to an iMac.... it's pretty much a laptop chassis inside the housing, it's how they pull it off for the most part. The "Go" series is the tell tale.

I'd say it has as much upgrade potential as an actual laptop; RAM, HDD. About your lot.
