hi you would be looking at £2500 for the lot but that comes with every thing,i all so know where there is a steel crank that would fit for £500(the road engine i had in my tuscan was just as fast as the race engine and it won out right a snet which is a power track)

Can you mod the sump to fit without modding the chassis, or do you have to tweek the chassis?

You would have to have a new sump custom made. Easiest way to make it fit is to cut the diagonal tube out of the chassis under the engine

My car has had the diagonal tube cut away to make way for the sump however, I am having additional bracing around the sump. Very easy by all accounts, two tubes in the corners of the sump opening which will form two triangular structures.

Added
With the triangular bracing in-lieu of diagonal bracing, I can fit either engine in the car without altering the chassis any further.

yes two tubes need cuting (on a tuscan)a twenty min job i had no probs with this and i know of five other cars with this done one being the top cat car which is used all the time, doesnt appear to afect the chassis at all
