Autosport awards this evening - Jason Plato is National Racing Driver of the Year.

Nothing to do with being burnt on TV, I thought Lewis Hamilton did a better job. He didn't come second in a two horse race.

But Plato didn't throw it away twice.

Hamilton took 3 awards - Rookie of the Year Award, British Competition Driver and International Racing Driver Trophies.

No, he came second in a three horse race! (And I'm a huge Lewis fan).

I'd say that's a fair award. Plato drove a great season this year, and was unlucky to miss out on the title.

So Plato wasn't good enough to get something to throw away in the first place. ?

He won 'National Racing Driver of the Year' ie a driver in a national race series, not a world championship, so Hamilton and Priaux not eligable for that one.

He did give away a race win to a team mate, and in several races he just didn't look like he was trying.

Andy P will never get the recognition he deserves. Driving a car which the FIA dislike and will alter the rules to penalise as it wins race after race, he did a top job. Maybe a Le Mans drive would help his cause. Tom Kristiansen deserves a mention too. After his hufe DTM crash he goes onto Le Mans and drives a blinder....again no award. Autosport is too F1 biased.

Autosport awards my arse, more like the Lewis Hamilton show.

I cant believe that the only mention Priaux got was when he was presenting an award.
