Right. Since I was little, I have ALWAYS had a passion for cars, and racing. Car was my first word!!! Growing up, I constantly begged my parents to let me start karting, rather than sending me onto a muddy football field every week. However, they just did not have the money.

Anyways, I am 18 now, passed my driving test a year ago and because I am working now, I would still love to follow my dream, but I do not have a clue where to start, or how to go about it.

Anyone have any suggestions at all? Would be muchly appreciated.

get your ards test done
( racing licence)

if poss get some tuition if you are a complete novice ( if you can't afford it and it is VERY expensive do lots of karting at your local track, see if you have a feel for racing, and if you have any natural skills.)

buy a car, the best you can afford, ( stock hatch starts from about £1000 for a race ready car, but unless you are very talented, you are likely to be rear to middle of the pack. Not a terrible place to be in your rookie year, and build from there
good luck
