I have taken the plunge!
On saturday i will be exchanging my gorgeous Griff 500 () for a Cerbie 4.5 ().

I am slightly nervous about letting the Griff go as i have had nearly two years of awesome fun without any problems. It really is a great car - but i can cheer myself up with the thought that on Saturday i will pick up a bigger and faster BEAST!!

Sorry, no real point to this post but am a little excited!

Nearly did this in February but never got round to buying a Cerbera due to divorce. However, I am nearly there and hope to get Rob Ingleby on the case this week. Got all my info from this site as well as a kind email from Joolz. Just looking for a blue 4.2 with cream/magnolia leather as a treat to myself. Life looking up!

If you don't mind me asking, roughly how did you do trade-in wise, thinking of making the same move as you soon.

Email offline if you like...

Cheers,

Graham

Not quite sure what the ettiquette is about replying but just thought i'd say thanks to everyone for sharing my excitemnet!

Gary - i hope you find the Cerbie you want ASAP; keep an eye on the Fernies web site as they have had loads in recently and may get more!
Graham - i'll mail you directly re. trade-in values, i don't know why especially but talking about money is always unattractive!!

Well done bunt76. I was up at Fernies recently having a few tweaks to my Cerb, and I had a right good sniff over your car. It's a beauty.

Enjoy.

I have just made mind up to go for cerb over griff.
Is it a good move & have your running costs gone up since changed?

I also upgraded from Griff to Cerb in October. My Griff was luverly, but prone to breaking down. The Cerb is a different beast 'Easy' to drive, and much more reliable (have only had probs with the Drivers Door and Starter Motor).
I am sure you both will enjoy the Cerb even more than your Griffs

Yes, the Cerbera has been cheaper to run by quite a long shot. However I will need some suspension soon.

I guess the Griff used to average out at about £18oo per year for servicing and bits and bobs (tyres etc but not inc petrol) the cerb has only cost me about £600 so far in the last year, although I did spend a grand on it when I got it.

Sorry if that does not make sense

That makes sense
I dont care about pennies but at least if they cost the same or a bit more expensive on the cerb. Some have said it could double.
WHICH IS SCARY!!
