Just a Quicky. At snett last year ( with help from the TVRCC) I organised through Team Wright Racing a bit of hospitality for the teams with some food and beer.

With the propsoed 2 day format of the racing in 2008 I'd like to see if we can do something at every meeting ( 6 proposed)

So the question is,

1) Does anyone fancy it
2) if so what should we provide
3) How much is everyone willing to put into the pot ( bearing in mind we all need to eat anyway)
4) how formally organised should we make it...

Now we could do anything from hiring a room at the circuit/ nearby hotel to bunging something one of the bigger teams to put it on ( hi Rich) to just an informal get together where we all agree to bring some food and beer and crash in someones awning..

As things are a bit slow at the moment I thought I'd open the floor and see what anyone thinks...

Cheers

Sounds good to me, as long as it's not too expensive, as will be running a tight budget.
But as I plan on sleeping at the events in the truck, could come in handy.

Graham,

Great idea, certainly helps the commradery and the personal organisation of having to sort hotels/food etc..

Personally I like to stay in the circuit and sort the car and sleep in the truck, as opposed to the Range Rover last year, so to know that we are already orgainsed its worth some money.

So how much each, are we organising it ourselves or were you thinking of getting someone to sort it out for us?

Beer, steaks, accompanyments £20-£30 a head depending on wether we do it ourselves I suppose and how many sign up?

I'll miss Hugh Marshall's "Cave man finds fire impression that we saw at Rockingham though!" if we have a central barby!biggrin

Or our very own BTCC racer lighting up an indoor barby by the fuel!!!redcard

rofl keith and i have bought a rather large marquee (apparentley holds 50 people) haven't tried to erect it yet,so if you all give us a hand the party can be at our place.
we would be up for this so count us in with whatever everyone decides.
