Hi guys my friend has just aquired a 1985 B reg Ford Orion 1.6 auto! It's done 33k miles and is totally mint (absolutly mint) he reakons he will get some nutter on Ebay willing to pay up to £1k!!

What are you thoughts on this? I reakon he's lucky to get £400 for it.

Ps this isn't a shameless plug for a car thats for sale, coz at the moment it isnt for sale!

Any ideas guys?

I suppose it would depend on who's looking for something like that on the day. They'll eventually become as popular as the Cortinas but not just yet.

What spec and colour is it? And does it have history and an MoT? A Ghia might fetch £1000.

Presumably the auto box is so bad that it's been driving almost continuously for the last twenty years, and still only managed 33K miles!

hehe

I reckon he might get £1k for it providing he's not in a rush. The above link is of course over-priced but you just need to find that 'someone' if you know what I mean.
