Good afternoon,

I'd like to be able to ascertain the day of the week from a particular day in Microsoft Excel. For instance from 09/12/07 would it be possible to work out that this is a Sunday. The only caveat is that there is an unequal number of days - i.e. it isn't just a list of one date after another.

With kind regards

Use the Julian date function, and then use the MOD function with a factor of 7 smile
