Dont' you just love Vista!

When adding albums to Itunes from a hard drive, Itunes will not let me add the album art. Had a bit of google at some mac forums and it seems to be a Vista issue.

Any ideas anyone? Currently trying to load an Ipod touch Xmas present.

Cheers
Andy

really, have you:
select view - view album art,
then drag and drop all the album art onto the area which would show it?

I used a 3rd party software called copy trans.

takes the whole catalogue straight from the ipod into ITunes.

worked great.

Yes I have....really! Jeez give me some credit man.

The issue is that the Album art area is not modifiable. Neither does it work via 'Get Info' You can drop the artwork into the artwork box on Get Info and it looks ok, but after clicking ok it doesn't appear with the music.

Pretty sure it's a Vista issu....shile of pite in my opinion.

I've just tried it, and it works perfectly via 'Get Info', dragging artwork from Amazon onto the artwork box. confused

That's with Vista business, iTunes 7.5.0.20.

My iTunes loads up with a black screen in Vista, I have to minimise/maximise to get back to normal. It also doesn't like updating what's currently playing, so I have to change playlist to get it to do it.

Yeah if iTunes doesn't work it is the fault of the OS which has been available to apple for testing for years.

Might be down to your graphics card. Until I upgraded to DirectX 10 it didn't work for me.
