Hi All,

Apologies to anyone who has already seen this request in the Headley Court thread over in P&P or in the London or Ferrari forums. As time is short, I'm trying to get maximum coverage.

I spoke this evening with Tony, the Recreational Therapist at Headley about how we could best get the donations from Shadowninja's collection and convert them into gifts for the guys at Headley. As soon as he registered exactly what PH is all about, he had an immediate question...

Would anyone be willing to take a 360 up to Headley Court next Monday??

The reason for asking is that one of his patients - who is a complete Ferrari nut - is finally leaving Headley after extensive treatment for head injuries received in an RPG attack. Whilst he was there, Tony found someone to take him out on track in a 360, which he loved. Someone else is building him a model of a 360 as a leaving present, so needless to say, if we could find someone with an actual 360 willing to turn up on Monday evening (the 17th) to "play Santa" and deliver it, this would provide the icing on the cake!

If you've missed out on either Darren's collection thread or the outrage thread which triggered it, feel free to go and take a read. If you have a 360 - or Tony says even "lesser" Ferraris such as Enzos would be acceptable as a stand in wink - and you're willing to bring it out to make someone's day, please could you drop me a PM as soon as possible?

Thanks,

Chris.

Just to add, for those who don't know - Headley Court is 5 minutes from J9 of the M25 (Epsom/Leatherhead). I'm waiting for confirmation of a time.

He was the first chap to reply. He's in North London, and timing may be an issue, but fingers crossed!

Quick update!

Ideally, they would want to get a 360 (and/or any other Ferraris) there for 15:30, so they can keep stringing the surprise out for a bit longer behind a group of British Legion Bikers who are turning up then! biggrin

Alternatively, for anyone who could do lunchtime, between 12:00 and 15:30 would work well.

Well, this has really taken off over in the Ferrari section....

It seems I've definitely got my 360 smile

Plus a Yellow Testarossa... smilesmile

And a 599... smilesmilesmile

And we're in with a shot of making the 430 seem even more common than a 996 Turbo! laugh

Well, with still 72 hours until we go to Headley on Monday, this has been a positive triumph! bounce

We're going to have a Testarossa, a 308, 2 328s, a 355, 2 360s, 2 430s, a 599 and a Gallardo, just in case anyone doesn't like Fezzas! biggrin

I started out looking for one car just to turn up and deliver a present, but all of the guys above have volunteered to stay for a couple of hours or more, so we're going to be able to make sure that any of the guys who want to can go out in at least one of the cars, and Headley have also invited us to stick around for the afternoon, and also for the Christmas dinner in the evening, and from the way that has been described, it's sure going to beat any other official Christmas do I've ever been to!! laugh

Excellent job - you are really going to make a difference to the guy's Christmas, also good to let the patients know that the public have not forgotten them!

Top job! clap
