Hi guys,

without much luck ive been looking around for reversing sensors as a christmas present with no idea of which would or wouldn't be any good.

Then thought hey i know a crowd of guys who could probably point me in the right direction..........
they are for a mk2 ford focus, and idealy wouldn't be affected by a towbar...any ideas!!!rolleyes

cheers

have you tried ebay or somewhere like motorworld they tend to stock sensors like these, not sure whether they would be affected by the tow bar though.

Neighbour has a cheap set from ebay, they're not particular pleasing on the eye but they do what they say they will. He paid abut £20 I think, for that price it's worth a whirl

Edit - his ones are non drill, they're thin enough to stick on with a strong adhesive and wire through the boot/hatch or boot floor

I got a cheap pair a while back for my VW camper and found the towbar made NO difference.
Just make sure they do not angle down too far otherwise you may get false readings.

Go to your local Ford dealer.

They do a system called xvision reasonably priced, approved by uncle Henry and with a Ford backed warranty.
