When did Citroen stop making the ZX? I'm sure the last I've seen are on an R plate, yet I saw one yesterday at a (fairly recently opened and looking a bit suspect) used car dealer on a T Plate, and it was badged as a 2.0, which I thought they stopped making ages before that too! (only the Volcane and 16v?)

Something dodgy about it, what do you think? The reg plate when entered into vehicle checks such as the RAC site say it is a Citroen but do not give a model, and the DVLA road tax check site says:

Date of Liability 01 10 2006
Date of First Registration 15 04 1999
Year of Manufacture 1998

Bro-in-law used to have an S-plate ZX Estate and it was far from the last. T-plate sounds OK to me.

Sounds a bit funny, as the last ZX's were either 1.4 petrol, or 1.9 D & TD models. They ran a shoestring of "special editions" to finish the parts off as the Xsara came out. R reg is considered late, so T is very late! And to see a 2.0? Does strike me as odd, but then stranger things have happened. Weird thing is that the 2.0 engine the Volcane used was dropped in 1996 (was a naff 8v unit from the Xantia) and replaced in favour of a weak but quiet 2.0 16v that never made it's way into the ZX.
