Hi.
Does anyone out there have any info on the following for an A-Class A140 (old 168 model):
-availability of owners' manuals (paper or downloaded)
-where the oil filter is!
-where the air filter is
-where the pollen filter is
-fuel filter change mileage or age
-how to change the above 4 items.
Thanks in anticipation - it appears that Haynes don't do a manual and have no intention of doing one!!!

Thanks for that info. Seems that it should be a fairly straighforward job then. I assume the oil filter's under the the round black cover with the hex head?. Is is a filter or just an element inside the cover? How do you stop the oil from peeing all over the engine block. The missus says the dipstick is behind the steering wheel!!!!! I've serviced my own cars for years but this one seems to be taxing me! Probably because you can't get a manual! I've just noticed that you're a Truumph person as well! We've got a 13/60 Herald Convertible in a 'restoration in progress' state at the moment!!!

Yes is it just a element type,
Undoe the filter and just let it rest there for a few minutes,
Rag underneath should stop the oil going over the block.

Ex Truimph nutter
Stag V8 in the Dolly Sprint the removed to fit the AJP8 which sadly I never finished.
Sprint now lives in Ireland.

Thanks for that. I was planning on joining a club but wasn't sure of the best one to join.
I have seen (and bookmarked) Lofty's site - it is very useful.
