I have ended up with a VW Toureg as a courtesy vehicle while mine is being repaired and would like to ask a couple of questions.

Please don't flame me if you think they are daft but how the hell do you manage to play a music CD while the Sat Nav disc is loaded? (I cant find a CD changer) The other question is where and how do you read the MPG figures?

I'll assume it's the same basic layout as my other half's Polo.

CD Changer if it's not in the boot hidden behind the trim will either be in the glovebox, or more likely under the front passenger seat accessable from the front.

MPG should be on the computer display accessible from the clicky button on the end of the wiper stalk?

The CD changer is normally in the boot behind the panel on the right hand side. The mpg can be seen via the trip computer accessed by the buttons on the steering wheel. There will be a scrolling wheel if you are already using the MFI then just scroll down until the average mpg or mpg now is revealed. If its on the Sat Nav setting, push the button above the scrolling wheel, looks like to sqaures over each other, and scroll up and push the wheel to choose MFI you can then scroll and see mpg etc.....

Just a point but if its just a courtesy car, why do you need the mpg?
