Gents,

How about this:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/304141.htm

Seems cheap for a supercharged low-mile Monaro. It's had a fair few owners, mind. Too good to be true? I'm not in the market myself (will soon be piloting a Swedish torque steer fest due to imminent arrival of sprog 2.0), but if this is a clean car that surely is decent value?

Should be fun on the standard brakes as well I reckon biggrin

Could be the horrendous fuel mileage smile

Does seem reasonable though.

No AP's or Race logic mentioned in the advert.....
522 BHP and CV8 brakes/TC sounds very scarry indeed.
If you are going to buy it I'd factor in another £4k for the above.

I did sortof mention that in the original post, that was my point. And I'm not going to buy it either, just thought y'all might be interested.

Sorry o.versteer I didn't make that very clear, when I said "you" I meant anyone reading the post rather than you specifically - it looks a very clean car to start with though - no one's on here then ??

Not at all, I have standard brakes on mine with 520bhp and they are fine for every day driving. With decent anticipation of other's actions and a smooth style you hardly ever need to use the full force of the brakes. However, I would never try to take it to a track on standard stoppers. Also, TC is for girls - just be delicate with the throttle when wet/icy. Fuel consumption is about the same/slightly better than standard although it can be terrible if you use all of the performance all of the time.

I bought my (standard) 06 CV8 in June this year; with the Wortec and SC I have spent a total of £28k which I'll never get back. By the looks of it this car looks very good value indeed.
