There's been a bit of a debate about the quality of the leather seats in the TT-Forum. Seems like a bit of a fuss over nothing as it's surely leather will wear and stretch over time...

It would seem some people care more about the seats than the actual driving experience rolleyes

Or perhaps after spending 30k on a car they are a bit p1ssed that the leather is sagging?
Nothing wrong with complaining about that in my eyes.

True, I'd be interested to see how this pans out. Having done 900miles in my TT 3.2 so far, there's a slight crease in on the leather but at the moment just looks like normal wear to me. I used to run an E46 M3 with the same nappa leather even though the seat design was different.

I've noticed that all TT demos in my local dealer was the same though. But as some people have gone the length of replacing seat covers only to happen again is postponing the inevitable as it'll wear again.

I had a TT for 4 months and the seat sagged badly, have got another one for 4 months and same thing.

Like you said, no point in a recover, Audi need to redesign the seat to reduce sagging and then issue a recall, think thats what the TT guys are aiming at.
