C1RVY looks great in the January Practical Performance Car magazine thumbup Just a shame about the inaccuracies of the article frown who's ever heard of a 2.8 litre 3 valve per cyclinder AJP engine? I had to read the cover twice to make sure it wasn't April 1st .. Still it's nice to see Simon's car in print, the pics are lovely smile

The do that every month though. Apparently you can buy a Bentley Turbo R for £7k, a Merc 560SEC for £2k, a 308GT4 for £7k or a Lotus Carlton for £11k. Either they're buying in special "pounds" that are 25-50% more valuable than mine, or they'd be picking up some right hounds.

Show me £9k car that won't need an extra £3k spent on it in the first 12months (that's on top of normal running for a good average one).
I suppose they might be out there but I bet they are few and far between.

I'd be more p*ssed that it's implying that "you can have this (YOUR) Cerb for £9k".

On a similar topic, I was happy to see James Agger - in Sprint - implying that Lightweights (2000 and onwards) priced at £20k and above are being snapped up. Made me very happy.

Nice one Simon, I think if your car was up for sale at 9k it would go within a few seconds of been advertised, I'm off out to look for a copy now.
All the best Simon and see you in the new year and look after it for those track days, every time I see your car I just think of Cadwell park now, can't think way. laugh

Thanks Kev, i did suggest to the magazine that they might like to spice up the article with some of those fantastic piccies that you took at Cadwell earlier in the year, but they prefer to keep the feature studio only...... see what you think when you see the article!

I'm off to my local Tesco later ( in the Cerb ) to buy a couple of copies for the records, i shall enjoy that biggrin

Cheers all thumbup

Just spotted this in the local newsagents and snapped up a copy.

Well done CIRVY - your car looks superb.

They did not think much of the speed 6 engined cars..

That presumably came from prestige performance cars as they did the article info according to the acknowledgements at the end .. ? Either that or the author was making his own stuff up hehe

Just been in WHSMITHS, very nice to see the car on the front of the shelves, it seems to have only recently appeared in many shops.

I'll ask Paul next time I see him (which seems to be fairly regular at the moment frown) although it wouldn't surprise me if the author "made things up" or got his facts wrong. It seems to happen quite regularly.
