I run a few websites, including two with forums.
On forums, a poster needs to host any pictures on a photo hosting firm. I use Photobucket.
Yesterday, without any notice, I got an e-mail from Photobucket, informing me that my Photobucket account had exceeded the allowed bandwidth and that to reinstate the account, I needed to upgrade to a Pro Account.
Obviously because my forums were now filled up with lots of little red squares with "Photobucket bandwidth exceeded", I needed the images restored.
I followed the steps to upgrade to a Pro account, which (no joking) took over an hour of filling out various on-line forms and having to agree to sign up to one of their sponsors for a special offer. I chose business cards from Vista Print. Free, yes, but £6.50 P&P. Still that's another story.
Well my account with Photobucket has now been restored, but when I look on the forum sites, some of the pictures are back on, but others are not.
Can anybody advise me how to ensure that all of these images are put back on the forums?
Just like EBay, Photobucket do not seem to have any phone numbers for their contact details.
I have sent them an e-mail, but not yet received a reply.
Advice please guys.

Are the missing photos all yours or have they been posted/ referenced by others? Could be that PhotoBucket clamped down on bandwidth excess and some of your forum contributors got caught out (like you did).

If not, don't know off the top of my head. Might be a PhotoBucket refresh or account availability issue; they might have deleted some of your photos (the most bandwidth heavy/ the most often requested). Unlikely to be a browser or other software issue tho, IMO.

Glad to report that it is fixed now.
Mind you, it took 24 hours to get a reply from Photobucket, by which time, I managed to fix it myself.
Oh, and why don't these big operations like PB, EBay etc have a phone number, so you can discuss your problem with them?
Thanks for reply anyway.

The answer is in the question...
