Looking for Tyres
Discussion
I'd have a look for a soft compound Kumho V70a, they come in a whole range of sizes and won a group test a few years back: http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/autobild-trac...

Thanks thats interesting reading. I have heard the softs can heat up pretty easily and de-laminte under load, not sure how hard they were being pushed though.
The SMRC races are generally 10 laps so a soft could i suppose be used due to the shortish track time. However the NSSCC races are 5 minutes.
Would the softs be up to the job of a SMRC or even NSSCC race? The mediums seem to be like rocking horse S##t, i spoke to Kumho and they didnt have any coming into the country at that time and didnt know when or if they were getting any more.
These factors have made me think of another tyre, i used R888 last year and they were pretty good, used them in wet and dry conditions. Only thing now is the sizes ro fit the caterham.
Dilema, and only a couple of months to sort something out, i wouldnt mind getting them on before i get it corner weighted.
