I know that the factory are happy to help with any of the build stages at any time.

If you were ordering a kit, do you think they can supply it with the first 2 stages completed? (ie all panelling cut, sealed and rivetted)

Just wondering as I plan all the options in my head. I don't want to rush the build - I'll need to space it out a bit since I won't have the funds to buy the whole lot in one go - but I have noticed that this first stage does take quite a significantly large amount of time in people's build diaries.

Just a question I wondered if you guys could answer anyhow..

They'll do as much, or as little as you want them to do.... at a price of course.

However, I know that Ted is keen for builders to do the panelling themselves. Mainly because it doesn't take much mechanical knowledge and gives you a good feeling of achievement when finished - especially if your rivets are straight and evenly spaced.

PS. If you use more than 1 tube of Sikafix - then you're wasting it

If funds are an issue (As they were for me) then doing the panelling yourself is both rewarding and relatively cheap. As you're in the UK you can get just a few parts at a time without the shipping problems/costs the guys in the states have.
I collected my chassis myself on my small box trailer.
