It's been long enough now since anyone took an interest in stepping up to the challenge of organising the new season.

So here goes, having read all the various posts, here are the options available to you - I'm organising it so there will be no squabbling...

Qualification : 20:45

Option 3
Two Series - Any two series of 7 weeks each.


Points System

• Points are awarded to the top ten drivers in each race as follows: 1st=15pts, 2nd=12pts, 3rd=10pts, 4th=8pts, 5th=6pts, 6th=5pts, 7th=4pts, 8th=3pts, 9th=2pts and 10th=1pt.
• An extra point is awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap of each race.
• A bonus point is awarded to each driver who is classified as leading a lap, though no driver may collect more than one point per race no matter how many laps they lead.
• A bonus point is also given to the driver who lines up on pole position after the qualifying session.

Apart from the VLN mod, I'm not going to download all the cars I already have in different mods in one new very big lump.




PS. Which version of rFactor. v1.250 or v1.255 ?

I finally upgraded to V1.255 - was not too much work.

I ran rFactor the other day after a long break, and it had lost it's activation key! Got it running in the end though but I suspect my "free" reactivations count is near the limit.

Although I won't be able to make every race, I'm up for this.

All activations are free, you were only given a few to try and combat hacked copies and updated game engines.

I find it quicker to get new activations by emailing Gjon at ISI through, purchase at rfactor.net along with your original order number.

15 Minutes last series, but I thought it was a bit short, so how about 20 ?

Oh boo, I would have been up for this... Unfortunately, I've just started a season in Gentlefoot's LFS league, which races between 8 and 10pm on sundays, so that kind of rules me out

I would agree on the previous races being on the short side. 20 sounds good to me. How about, as an idea, a one off longer endurance style race in the mix somewhere? Just a suggestion.

Not too bothered really - I'm probably going to miss a few races due to travelling anyway. I'll let everyone else decide.
