I'VE DONE IT!!!!!

The wedge went to pastures new last week and today my new toy arrived:

Spec etc as follows:
1997 Chim 500
TVR Power Taraka upgrade
Spider conversion
Upgraded brakes
Upgraded suspension
1 Owner from new (I will be the second owner)
ALL paperwork from new and all TVR dealer.

Christ its fast!

Its already on the 500 owners register - Number 54 (Owners handle = PaddyM). Please can one of the mods change "Paddy M" to "L33"? - Ta.

Does anyone know PaddyM or anyone know anything about the car that I don't? scratchchin

I love tinkering with my cars but theres very little to do except enjoy!.
I'm smitten cloud9

Very nice - it's amazing what the spiders do to the look!

(I have now decided - interior and respray before engine mods!)

hello chim owners, i was looking for a new car something different from my norm (jap/german), I see a chim in a sainsburys car park and fell in love as it pulled away what a sound!!! I know nothing about them but soon to be joining the TVR owners club (bit pricey but they did send me a sample of there mag and it seemed good) Ive been looking on auto trader and pistonheads with my dad and we would both like to know what the hell is that ball shaped knob behind the gear stick?? and does anyone have one for sale around £7000 is there anybody from ipswich with one I could have a closer look at??? could someone tell me how long and wide they are as i could just about fit a BMW 320i in my garage.
thanks if anyone could help.

Ball knob (golfball) opens the doors twist one way or other.
As for getting one in a garage it is tight in a single garage but mine fits in ok.
Oh and i don't live in ipswich and mines not for sale.
Good luck with that budget you will get one but that is the tale end of the market price.

Sad to hear you've got rid of the Wedge it looked gorgeous when you brought it to Berkswell.

Welcome to Chimaera ownership, we expect to see it in the warmer weather.

i think the Spiders look great on it, just the right size too (16"ers?) makes a nice change to something other than Estorils on a 500!
the rest of the car looks smashing too, you've got yourself a very nice example there! thumbup
enjoy!

There's a 4.0 in Landspeed, Ipswich, and several in Kerridge's, Needham Market. You can look at mine if you want, but it's not for sale. I live fairly close to you.
