You could try:

www.gmpartsdirect.com/

Vin code M12 used on 6.0VXR p/n 92155485 (Tremec TUET2066), others use vin code MM6 p/n 92067136 (TUET2100)

M12 variant has shorter (better) ratios. See my other posts for more T56 info.

i was hoping there is one in england, i have just had a t56 from the states but they sent a viper style box which puts the lever to far forward for me, which is a shame because its a strong box.so i might just put a std one in for running in my new motor (427ci,cnc heads, fast intake, big cam.) not bothered on ratios

Viper has the same ratios as a Camaro and F-Body anyway, although better mainshaft and 30T output.

The GTO and mustangs get the slightly shorter ratios and 27T and 31T output shafts....Mustang also has a different input shaft I think.. But a lot of the boxes have slightly different fitment issues, so unless you really are free in terms of fitment, best to get the one you want.

I still have my old Camaro style T56. But its the same price as last time I mentioned it...which is probably too expensive. Ive no real interest in selling, unless its for enough money to replace it myself with an equal or better..
I know this one is 100%...buying a used box from the US, is a little bit of a gamble.

You could try these guys www.moving-parts.com. Basically they have a shipping address in the states that can be delivered to and then once a week they do a consolidated load over here. The idea is to save on shipping and get the Yanks that don't like to ship out of the US to supply.
Never got round to using them myself yet so can't personally recommend them but plan to get parts for my Chevy stepside this way later in the year.

There is also a place that specialises in transmissions for Corvette, Viper and Mustang in Letchworth. I think they were called Transmission Components. Sorry can't find their number or address. Might be worth a try. Never got to use them so can't recommend.

Yea, Steve at Moving Parts could be an option....That depends if the seller is happy shipping parts to an address totally different than where the card payment was made from.....

I was told about that Transmission Components ( Aston place ? ) place a while back...Maybe ask over on the Viper forum for opinions. Last I heard the person that initially told me about them....wasnt such a happy customer.

Thats where I got my current box.

In general, excellent service from them. Although I did ask for the shorter 5th and 6th....and got standard gearing. Their explanation for this was a little odd, as they said I did have the shorter gears ( which I clearly didnt ).....then they said its actually impossible on a Viper mainshaft without custom gears being made ( which is odd, as I know of 2 vipers that had these installed, and the guy in the UK that does Aston T56's said he could easily fit the 0.83/0.63 5th and 6th to mine....but then apparently he didnt fit stuff to someone elses box he re-built....so who knows what he can and cant do !! )

I decided just to stick with what I had though. Wasnt worth spending more money on it.

But they ( Amber/sixspeedsinc )did build me a trans very quickly, and had it shipped in good time, and as you say at a good price. So cant fault them there, and so far its worked great ( Although so did the totally standard box )
