Hi Ted,
My dad is spending more and more time on here (presumably because he likes the company of fellow petrol sniffing geriatrics) and he'd like to get his own profile. Is this possible from my PC?

It is. You'll have to log on each time though and deselect the 'remember me' option. The thread tracking option would possibly confuse you though, so I'd turn that off if you've selected that.

Or, you can give him his own username and password on your PC: that way most of his stuff (My Documents, IE cache, history, cookies, etc) all go in their own folder for him. You can then buth click the remember me box with no worries.

I know this'll work well on Windows 2000 and XP, it should fly on 95,98 and Me too.

Yeah you can do it - you'll need two email addresses though, one for each logon to be registered but any registered user can log on from a single PC.

The only problem then is keeping deranged female TV presenters off your PC - strangely they get on very well with McNab as well !!!

Cheers
JSG

Now I wonder why that is, JSG !!

Puny warms to a kindly approach, and at my age I'm afraid that's the only sort of approach I can manage!!

Well, nearly......
