Just thought I'd share the following. I regularly do home visits on an 80 year old terminally ill chap. I turned up in my Cerbie today and was duly let into the house by his wife, led into the same front room to see him lying in state in the chair he always seemed to be glued to.
Is that your car outside he said. Surprising because he wasn't facing the window. Even more surprising because he slowly with great effort stood up and and with a big grin said 'take me for a drive'. First time I had seen him stand under his own steam in six years!
It took him all of five seconds before he had to sit down again. But it's left a big smile on my face since.

That's really nice....

Our neighbour is nearly 70....appears every time Ray starts the Cerb nd oohhs and ahhhs over bit.
But despite offering every time....he refuses to go for a spin.......even a sedate one.....!!!!

So good on your 80 year old.......probably did him a world of good...
