Removing firefox add-ons

I seem to have ended up with 3 pop-up weather forecast things, constantly popping up telling me what they told me 5 mins ago. They even restrict access to the little 'down' button the slide-bar.

These are firefox add-ons, and i can't see how to remove them. Can anyone help?

(Note to self - when considering installing any add-on or programme, unless the ability to remove is not patently clear, in future don't load them).

sounds like you've got forecast fox. to disable go to tools, addons and find the add on - you should see a disable and un-install button.
