Bike transplant central, Yahoo Bike Engine Cars group and Westfield Sports Car Club forums should be helpful. Also the Locost Builders forums have a bike engined car section (though - even more than usual with any internet forum - be sure to engage your bullsh1t detectors before entering the Locost forum as there is some exceptionally bad engineering theory going on over there, mixed in amongst the useful and competent majority).

I have previously shoe-horned a blackbird carbed motor into a VanDiemen single seater and heres some snippets of advice for you:

1) only use a electric water pump if you really have to, plan to use the standard pump if you can.
2) make sure your radiator is well ducted as 170bhp produces a lot more heat.
3) for god sake do not go bigger than 1-1/2" on the primary OD of the exhaust manifold, otherwise you, you will have no midrange grunt, I did this and had 145bhp at the wheels (170 at the crank), so it dosent hurt top end either.
4) if you are using it on a track, plan to use a accu-sump, and run 1 litre more oil than you would normally, you will need the sump cut-down, I used Mistral in southend and would use them again, cost was £300 including the required internal mods
5) dont remove the balance shafts or any of that crap
6) plan on using some form of cold-feed air box that protrudes through the bonnet.
