Saw it 'under wraps' at Tower View. Looks stunning out in the open - shame about the roof being up on such a sunny day though! When/where will you be showing it off in public?

Hmm... very interesting. Really like the front end, certainly brings the car up to date... kinda undecided on the round lights at the rear to be honest, but it's certinaly impressive and unique!

Lovely bodywork and wheels and a great colour to show it off. Naughty rear plate indentation though! :sorryoccifer:

Those seats look great too.

Anything special going on under the skin?

The seats are the originals. I got Bartons in Luton to re-trim the whole of the interior to my own design a couple of years ago. (Perforated leather, bespoke headrests, no ashtrays, airvents or centre console cubby hole).

I'm probably going to Mania on the 9th August if you want to see it in the flesh.

This may sound stupid (sorry) but do the rear lights have indicators or do they just use the americian way of flashing the break light? And if so what model / year corvett did you get them off?

There's a slight orange tint in the white round lamps closest to the sides of the car... so guessing they are the indicators.

The lights are actually off a Lotus Elise. The surrounds are cut-off stainless cutlery holders from Homebase.

So kept with the TVR principle of using whatever is to hand!

Image Wheels in Tipton. I got the inner surfaces sprayed at the same time as the bodywork. They're solid aluminium, the downside is they weigh more than OZ's and they stone chip more easily, but it's not too diffcult to polish out any imperfections. They look great but if you are going to use the car every day (which I don't anymore) then probably not the best choice.

Hi Matt,

Yep that was me. Just a shame the boot was so full I couldn't get the roof off! Still I managed to get one of my arms sun-tanned.
