Can anyone recommend or does anyone know of any second hand office furniture companies around the Oxford area?

We are looking to clear out a load of quite good quality furniture, it would be sacrilege to dump it.

Also any ideas where to offload a server and associated cabinets etc?

TIA

If you manage to donate it away you will be lucky!

I have 100's of desk chairs, sofas etc., can't give them away. Will probably have to pay to have them moved in the end.

But if you find somebody, post it up here!

The large software company that made me and 30 others redundant in October are busy re-furbing their offices at the moment, just filled a load of skips with furniture that they purchased just under a year ago as it does not go with the new office layout/colours!! Total madness, cannot understand why they have cost/margin issues!! rolleyes

You could try local auction company's, this ones in Reading & holds monthly general sales that includes office furniture & computers

Items don't always fetch very much , at least it wouldn't be dumped.
They should be able to put you in touch with a remover as well.

Not sure they would take it on, they have a small furniture section, but they wouldn't take a large amount.
