I recently added an X-Power grey ZT190+ to the fleet and very pleased with it I am too.

However there is one fly in the ointment: below 4000 rpm seems to be a torque free zone. Am I expecting too much from a car that weighs 1600Kg?

The car is under guarantee at the moment but if it's just a dodgy VIS motor I'm inclined to change that myself to save on hassle. Just off for a rolling road power test now....

Well Done Steve, when did you pick it up?
I take it you brought from a garage as it has a warranty. Any pictures to post?
I sold my F last week, and so am now using my ZT everyday. It really is a hootbiggrin
You should have gone for the 260 V8 to get that extra Torque hehe

Hi Nigel. I picked it up just before Xmas so at a bargain price as I don't think the dealer had sold much in the previous few weeks!

A few extra cylinders would have been nice but as this is my daily driver I'm pleased with the 29mpg!

The rolling road run:

And here are the results:
Ist Run 187 bhp (bonnet open)
2nd run 180 bhp (bonnet closed)
3rd Run 180 bhp (bonnet closed)

So as suspected the power is not too bad but look at that trough in the torque curve! yikes A VIS motor on now on order so watch this space. In the meantime, I'll just have to limp along like a BA jet on finals. wink
