Hi, thinking about getting the chim serviced by these guys this year... on the basis that I'm not worried about residuals... it's 12 years old now, and there is no such thing as a TVR main dealer any more...

Has anyone used them, or recommend anyone else in the Newcastle area?

Cheers

Great place, certainly one of the better performance car orientated places up north.

Have used them previously and never had any probs with them at all, one of the few I'd trust to work on mine.

It would seem I'm alone here but, I'm afraid "not with a barge pole" springs to mind. I'm right on my way to work in a mo' so can't elaborate but my experience was a nightmare one. This was 8-9 years ago now so things maybe totally different these days.

I would say, suck it and see, every case is different.smile

Both me and my dad have taken loads of performance cars there, and from our experiences I would highly recommend them.

I take my 348 there and been very happy, infact its in again soon for the clutch.
Recently I had a full 25k service with cambelts plus there was labour for fitting a new exhaust and the bill came to less than a grand which believe me is a bargainbiggrin

Also have a mate who has a testarossa which has had a lot of work done there and I know he's had no issues

Thanks all... looks like a stamp of approval... I'll give them a try next service.

I Take my Testarossa there, they do full engine out belt changes, never ever had a problem, used for about 10 years now for various cars

Another vote of confidence from me. In the last 5 years they've serviced / MOT'd my BMW 540i, my wife's 106 XSi and my Indy.

They are now also servicing my new Seat (after the main dealer wanted £150 plus VAT to change the oil and recommended changing the brake fluid on an '07 plate car!)

I took the chim there a couple of weeks back, very happy with the service and the quality of the workmanship... and the price was very reasonable too.

Needless to say I'll be back next year.
