Anyone know what Kit this might be..... ?
Discussion
A friend of mine has asked me to find out what kit his dad might be building - it's supposed to be a surprise. All he knows is that its going to be able to do track days - is a 2 door with a small boot capable of holding 2 race helmets only. Is 4wd and turbo and will be likely capable of 600hp...
I thought the fact that it's 4wd will be a key thing if anyone has any links to 4wd kit cars would be much appreciated (likely sierra cosworth running gear ?)

Like others have said, the car that matches your description the best would seem to be the Murtaya...(despite the fact that the Murtaya's boot is bigger than what you mention):
www.Murtaya.com
You could always call Neil (of Adrenaline Motorsport, the maker of the Murtaya; he's on here as "neilrallying" ) and find out if they sold a kit to your friend's father.

Are all Cobra replicas 2WD?
Yes.Ram/L&R/Realm did/do a Cobra based on Ford suspension components that is/was available with 4WD. The company (wisely) seems to be concentrating on the less competitive D-type replica market, these days, so I don't know if the car is still available, though.

I believe Dax do still do the Super 7 inspired 4x4 Rush Quadra , based on Sierra Cosworth 4x4 diffs and gearbox. There are both 4 cylinder Cosworth Turbo and V8 powered Rush Quadra on the road in the UK, and both motors could be turbo boosted and nitrous injected to get ~ 600BHP !!!
The boot in Rush is only just big enough for 2 full face helmets, so for me that woudl be the most likely guess as to what the "surprise" could be..... nice!

Rush has no doors....
Maybe not conventional "doors" (i.e. lockable and with handles) but "side screens" could be termed doors, and that's what I tend to call my side screens - seems a better description to me since only the top 60% of door is actually a "screen" (window). So I still reckon it is a Dax Quadra and not a Murtaya (a very nice car also, and would be my choice of additional kit to join my Dax if I had room and time to do another kit).

It's made by Mill Auto Conversions. It's a fairly low profile company, but you should find them if you Google it.
