Wonder if anyone out there can help, Currently running avo's all round on standard springs and seem to be having a nightmare with the setup. The rears are spot on but the front is causing me problems, the ride height was originally very low but i cant seem to raise it without causing the springs to bottom out. This effectively seems like driving without any suspension (Lots of banging). I believe the avo's were designed to be used with standard springs so maybe i am doing something wrong. Any advice greatfully received...

Don't know if this will help you... I fitted avo's and uprated springs a few weeks ago and all round they are on about 12 clicks (not too harsh) and about 1" wheel arch to tyre space??? but the back drops a bit and I have to keep adjusting it till it settles down I guess.
The suspension hasn't been bottoming out but I have put a few dents on my exhaust from a particularly nasty speed bump at my house

There's a few threads, try a search
Here's one to start you off

don't think ur doing anything wrong, just that your springs wil have sagged - common prob even thought the eibach rep told me their springs never sag - so i showed him 20 that had!!
good news is you can change those easily and if you stiffen the front sloightly you'll improve the handling no-end

Can I borrow your tool for changing the ride height when my car is in for a service next month. It's getting a bit tight to turn by hand!!!

Are the springs actually going coil-bound? Wow, they must have sagged by miles in that case! If in any doubt I suggest you check the bump stops are set up correctly. None of the after-market dampers I've used on the V8S came with long enough bump stops.

the cerbie springs have incredibly close coils, and most cars out there are actually riding on the bumps stops on the std dampers .. they're horrible
