PH Sunday Service

It's back....at last!

Right then, here's a date for your diaries, Sunday the 17th February.

The PistonHeads Sunday Service returns to the Donjon Rouge Cafe at Wadhurst Station, East Sussex starting at 09.00 running until 13.00.

Lee and the team will be opening the cafe to provide us with bacon rolls and coffee, along with decent toilet facilities and somewhere warm to drink your brew. It's an opportunity to meet up, admire each others cars and hopefully arrange a drive out with other PHers as the surrounding roads are pretty decent.

Wadhurst Station offers 300 spaces and parking is free of charge. Last time we filled them all- but luckily you can double park towards the rear of the car park.

If you are planning a hoon down there, beware. Cafe owner Lee tells us that there are fixed cameras on the A21 between Sevenoaks and Tonbrige just waiting to take your picture.

Woop woop! Count me in!
The A21 is clear until just before the TUNBRIDGE WELLS turn off, southbound. There is a front facing scamera. From the M25 to there is completely clear of them.
Drive safe all!

I'm not aware of one just before TW; however there is a front facing camera just before the TONBRIDGE turn off; 1/4 mile after the end of the long slightly downhill straight bit, and immediately after a longish left hander, by the layby!

If the weather is good I'll be there

A colleague of mine might be coming from Maidstone in a Tiger; and will probably meet me somewhere near Cranbrook.

I'll be on the CBR and am always up for kicking some 4 wheels backside wink
And isn't the Tunbridge Wells turn-off the same as the Tonbridge turn off? Its just there are 2 turnoffs for Tonbridge.
I'll find a map smile
