The front wishbone bushes on my 96 Fiesta are a bit tired. Am I right in thinking that you have to replace the complete wishbone assembly rather than just the bushes? Sure I've heard it somewhere but I'm not 100% smile

Also, I need to do the rear strut top mounts. Is a spring compressor required for that? Want to make sure I've got all the tools to hand before I get started!

The lower arm bushes used to be available separatly but not sure if they still are as arms are so cheap now its not worth the effort (around £20 from a factor) the rear shock top mounts can be done without a spring compressor as the springs are under very little tension. With the top mounts from experiance get ford oe ones as the aftermarket ones i have tried have always caused problems when trying to secure them properly.
