Zooming Dell

I am using a Dell D410 latop running XP. Whenever I remove it from the docking station and connect it up to aprojector all the office applications zoom to the max.

I have had this propblem for alongtime and changing operating system (formly used Win2000) or office suite (now on 2007 was on 2000) have not made the probelm go away. The only way I can stop it doing this is to uninstall Intellitype I used for the wireless keyboard.

Can any one tell me why this happems?

Also is there another fix other than uninstalling intellitype?

Dont you just press F8 and the Function button to sort it out? Thats what I have to do (in reverse) on my 610

Tried that and had no effect, but thanks for suggestion

By 'zoom' do you mean that it displays at a lower resolution? I.E. everything appears bigger? If so then you need to right click on the desktop and change the display settings. Perhaps your projector cannot handle a very high resolution.

By Zoom I meens the task bars remain the same size but the docuemnt zooms to max magnification.
