Gents Can anybody advise me whether it is ok to run Jaguar Nikasil engines on gas I am told all sorts of stories like the hot gases damage the Nikasil liners is there any truth in all this.

It's gasoline with a high sulphur content you want to avoid. Read Broadbean747's thread here:

Nikasil engines on gas error

Gents I meant LPG Gas. can NIKASIL engines run on LPG is there any problems.

No, unless the engine has been previously run on high sulphur fuel. There is nothing inherently wrrong with Nikasil engines. High sulphur fuel caused premature bore wear on these. Make sure the source of LPG is low sulphur snd you will get more hippy shags than Frank Sinatra.
