Anyone ever had one of these fixed, and if so, who did you use (London)? It's been failing for a while, and now is stating a viewing card problem (yet it doesn't actually have a viewing card) and refusing to work at all. Sky will doubtless want a fortune to fix it. It is a couple of years old.

Would just look for another one, but it has lots of unwatched stuff on it, and there is no guarantee that a new/second hand one won't fail too...

Any tips appreciated. Was going to just take it to bits myself as I suspect a loose connection (moving the bow used to fic the original issue) - but then realised that as I know nothing about electronics, I'd do more harm than good!

Thanks,

Harry.

Sky do a fixed price fix for £65, or threaten to cancel and they usually waive it smile

Thanks chap - I'll call Sky I guess rather than mess it up myself.

Also, that's what I mean - no viewing card, so it's clearly gone doolally.
