I was told by a college teacher once that in India to pass your driving test you just need to drive in a straight line for a few hundred yards.

Also drink driving is an accepted way of life.

Yup. I can attest to that. I "passed" both my motorcycle and car test in the space of 20 minutes. Its all corrupt nonsense, the examiner wasn't even in the car with me. I raised this and was told "no to worry - we'll pass you".

I lived in Thailand for a year, then in the Philippines for ten years. 'Might has Right' is the rule of the road there.

If you are on the motorcycle you have NO rights to the road, you move out of the way of trucks and cars, or you get squished.

Looks like fun. Wish everyone in this country was so switched on.

Interesting to see how smooth the flow of traffic is without any forms of control.

If that junction was here in England, it would have mile long tailbacks due to the traffic lights. If it was in London, REDKEN would make sure minimum time to negotiate the junction with TfL phasing and timings would be 30 minutes.

Councils and traffic planners of the world take note!
