Hotel in Southern Scotland (around Stranraer)

Hi!

I`m travelling from sunny Belfast to collect my TVR in England and have decided to get the Belfast <> Stranraer ferry across.

On the way back I want to spend a day in Scotland, staying over one night and get the 10am ferry back to Belfast.

Can someone recommend a TVR friendly hotel that is close (< 30 minutes drive) from Stranraer? I.e. secure parking, no speed ramps in/out, etc.

I`m really after a nice country house and I don`t mind paying upto £150 for a one night stay (treating the girlfriend as I don`t 'do' valentines day )
