I am starting to use Safari instead of Firefox on my Macbook. Apart from not having a drop down in the address bar, for recently visited sites, I am finding Safari really good, even a bit quicker than Firefox!

Anyway does anyone know of an app or plug in for Ad-blocking? Something similar to the FF one?

I've been using Safariblock: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/19202 recently. Seems to do the trick.

On a PC I found Safari markedly quicker than FF, but feature poor so reverted back.

Been using it for a while here too.

No faults found yet - remarkable how much faster most pages load when the advertising banners are omitted.
