As most will know I'm a big fan of anything MS, this morning though I had a email about the beta being available.

Pulled and installed without issue and it's very quick, and has some cool features too, single click to create bookmarks and built in spell checker as you type smile

Still seeing what else has changed but very impressed so far.

Anyone else already trying it?

It seems to be an improvement over 2.x, but I've reverted to 2.0.0.12 as I can't cope without my favourite extensions!

P.S. The spell checker is available in 2.x too. Should be made compulsory around here to ward off the spelling pedants...

I've been using it for a while now - very impressed with it.

Just a couple of issues - it was very quick when I first installed it but seemed to get slower over time.

More important/worrying yesterday it did an automatic update and now won't work at all!
It loads up half opens my home page and then crashes, not sure how to fix it so have gone back to v2 for now.

Is it any better with memory consumption? I find firefox to be very greedy with the old memory.

Another annoying aspect is that it seems to freeze the whole browser if it cannot access a website, very very annoying.
