The Asus Eee is a neat little laptop with a breakthrough price for the form factor, and it's been described as 'cute' by a couple of girls I know... but 'bad mother ers' really isn't an apt description for the Eee. You got it mixed up with something, like the Typhoon fighter jet (on sale in Currys now in a range of colours)? Or one of those Dyson vacuum cleaners that look like they'd cause a vortex in the space-time continuum and up the universe? Yeah, man.

Yeah they've had to rush out a new model because the EEE is selling so poorly.

I think it only came out in about October... probably a bit too soon for a new one yet, isn't it?

Or maybe I'm just getting old and can't keep up with all this new technology! These days I just buy the best/most recent that I can afford at the time and just accept that there will be something better/newer coming along tomorrow.

I'm chuffed to bits with my Eee though - it does exactly what it promises and is a real bargain. Perfect for my needs.
