Blue M3 Convertible Today No plate "BYE BYE"?
Discussion
To be honest, it is a complete can of worms!
i.e
You could have them fitted solely for private use on a private land and be within the law, but to then "have them" in the car when out in public "could" be construed as you having them unlawfully, even if they are turned off, as they would be technically operational and so still technically "connected and fully functional". There are a whole load of offences it "could" be depending on what is visible, what is connected and what side plod got out of bed that morning. Popular ones that spring ot mind are unauthorised use of a warning beacon, showing other than prescribed light to the front, or if plod was having a REALLY bad day, why not just arrest yo uon suspicion of impersonating a police officer?
Does that help?
(£100 for a set, can only make exchange after sunset)
Disclaimer - For the benefit of my employer who may or may not be checking up on what I type, the offer to supply Dave S3 with anything for his car is a comical one and was never intended to be taken seriously. I would only ever offer such favours to long people I know a bit better, like bmwrivernigel or someone. That is all
