Hello

Was at Costco today buying Mobil 1 and saw this beast of a trolley jack. Very chunky looking with a very low minimum pan height [89mm if memory serves me correctly]. All this for 70 + vodka.

Yes I bought one.

No I dont work for them.

Can post some pics if anyone is interested.

Looks excellent. Definitely American, (Aluminum), but odd that all the specs are Metric rather than Imperial. Like CostCo a lot. Generally some good stuff if you poke around..............and as for the Muffins !!!!!!!

Agreed

Very hard to stay restrained when faced with industrial packs of muffins and other assorted pastries...

Saw this on Sat too - great buy - but wouldn't fit in the car coz of all the other shite I'd already bought - the Toolchests in there are great value too - huuuuge great thing for £450ish

I think I'm glad I missed them.

I did spend 5 minutes playing with the Big Gas BBQ's.

That looks nice! I've just got a cheapo £20 one. Not that it matters much, my whole car only weighs 450KG!

I have a cheapo too. But I find the pan is not low enough. For instance when my porsche had a flat tyre I could not get the cheapo under the car. This new one will apparantly drop to 89mm. Also it will then lift the car to 508mm.

I've had one of those for over a year now, (ebay) and its fine. light enough to carry, stable and easy to use.

Mines had loads of abuse around the paddocks last season.. when you first get it though go round with and allen key and tighten everything up

Excellent choice... biggrin

I've got an Arcan jack myself, it is aluminium (you silly Brits hehe) made to handle 3 imperial tons. Sturdy as heck, I know people who have used them for years, even neglecting the fluid level, yet they operate without fail. Not to mention its anodized blue and silver finish is quite attractive!
