Hi all.
I have just bought a new Epson Stylus DX7400 printer.
All installed correctly with my PC and printing onto paper lovely.
However, when I want to scan something to save to my PC, the printer tells me that it has scanned and saved the item.
However, it doesn't say where to!
I have searched in my pictures & my documents to no avail.
Has anyone got any idea where my scanned images have gone to?

not had that particular one but my old epsom saved it into a sub folder from the epsom software install, so have a look in there.

If you have any photo editing software I find it's usually better to go through that to access the scanner for greater control.

I agree. Probably find it somewhere like c:\programs\epsom\scanner\images

However always best to use say photoshop import fom the scanner into there and then save it to where ever the hell you like and in what format.

Guess you're using the Epson Scan Software..

There is a button next to the Scan button, click on this and it will show you where it scans stuff to.. I didn't like it, but it does
at least allow you to batch up scans and will auto-increment a numeric suffix for you..

I still use Photoshop or similar to scan in, then I can tell it where I want to save it to, not have to remember to tell it _before_ scanning!! But it does work, sort of, in the end.. Just a little different to the norm.
