Emerald Triple Map Switch ?
Discussion
Hi - has anyone fitted the Emerald Triple Map Switch ?
I was kind of expection the usual rear of the switch to have 3 flat blade connectors but it has an outer ring of smaller connectors (about 12) and an inner ring of 4 small connectors.
There is also a 1 ohn resistor - which page 40 of the manual shows as going to earth but is it soldered along side the cable (parallel) of in series - as it shown in the manual..

there's two serial connectors on the casing .. one for the mapping lead and one with a rubber cover over it, the ecu manual shows you how to connect the map switch into this serial connector. I think there's a way to do it through the big K series plug but I've never bothered as using the other serial connector is easier.
