Time of year and a stale market in the perfomance car market wont help you along with the influx of dirt cheap import soops makes it even harder.

A friend of mine is a trader and has had a few and recently taking a bit longer to sell even for a 'cheap' deal.

Give me a link to the sale details.. i wouldnt mind having a gander.

I know all too well about having to sell cars for houses etc...

MR2 Tbar Turbo in Carrbiean blue was sold to fund my honeymoon when i got married... then a few months later got a Celica GT4 which had to go when we bought a house.

Now im a Bora TDi family car driver due to our little 5 month old daughter.. lol

Good luck with the sale.

Out of interest, how long before you hand over the keys? I would expect the potential buyer to want to check over the car for 45 minutes to an hour before even considering driving it. Surely, if they are actually looking to hand over hard earned cash, then they would want to check things which wouldn't be noticed by simply driving it? I'm willing to take the risk and lose the odd genuine buyer, if nobody else agrees. It's worked for me to date.

hi there mate,

thanks for the feedback, i have had some genuine buyers and they have spent a lot of time checking all the things over but they just disappear after driving the car? it really doesnt make sense? they say they will call but never do, but then on the other hand you can spot a dhead who just wants to drive it, but again they are potential buyers!

its a no win, no win situation!

Ahh... there is your problem.. its a NA. Very hard to shift mate im sorry to inform you.

Always have been sadly since the flagship TT is the most desireable one.

To be honest only 1 in 10 UK supras came in manual 6 speed guise. The Auto box is very very impressive in the supra. smile

Having driven both and never been a fan of the Auto in any car i was surprised by the Soop.

i can totally agree, i was a nissan pulsar man before i bought this and it has impressed me, never thought i would own an auto car and i waited six months for the right soop, couldn't afford a TT and couldnt find a manual one either!

Ah, auto and N/A. That will probably feel very slow for a test driver. I'd sell all the upgrades separately and stick original stuff back on and sell it at a greatly reduced rate.

Ah, problem being i sold the original pieces so without spending to gain, it really wouldnt be worth it, so on a level then what should i expect for it as it is now? i was offered 3000 about 6 weeks ago and turned it down because i wasnt that desperate to sell it, but time flys.......and now im up the creek!

I'm having similar issues selling my 200SX. It's a great car, but no-one seems interested at the moment. I'm a bit better off than you though, in that I can keep the car for the time being, its just annoying when you'd rather have the cash!

You should be able to sell it for 3k.
As has been said before, an N/A Auto isn't very desireable, and in the most common colour too its not gonna command much money.
Shame really, as its an awesome piece of kit, even in its slowest form hehe
