Taormina sicily

Just booked up to go to Taormina in july, whats everyones opinions on the place?? restaurants and bars etc?

Normally I can help, but you've managed to pick the only place in Italy I haven't visited. I'll be watching this thread closely.

Been there and most of the rest of Sicily.....very regularly
Expensive compared with the rest of Sicily.Giardini Naxos next door is cheaper.Nice place though.Go to Etna and Fiumefredo both are an experiance.

When you say exspensive, is eating out really expsensive or is there plenty places to eat with decent prices??

You can find places where you can eat at decent prices, just move around a bit.....
Try out also Letojanni, just 5km.from Taormina Alta, and Giardini Naxos that is Taormina's beach......

Visit the various villages around Taormina, prices are cheaper and the beaches are worth it.
