Hi All

Had a sales call from BT webclicks. They are guaranteeing 80 click-throughs from national and local search engines a month for £80 from a tightly defined geographic area which would be extremely attractive for one of our businesses. If they don't generate the 80 they refund pro-rata and have a get out clause after 3 months.

Not a lot of money to put up, just wondered if anybody has any experience of them. Thanks

I would have thought a well set-up PPC campaign through something like Adwords or adCenter would produce the same results for a lot less money...

Hop onto Adwords. We manage hundreds of accounts for businesses like your own and they see excellent ROI from Google - also remember that 80 clicks on your website does not mean 80 conversions.

If you need any help with bid strategy (ie how much to bid/ad copy etc), drop me a PM.

We have started using them and I think its not a great move. In nearly a month we are well up on the hits and sponsored links on Yahoo and MSN but not on Google as the BT sales rep promised. Have have gone for the same package as a trial and the number of enquires has not grown. To be honest once they have got your business they dont seem to care and take days to reply to an email. At the end of the trial I might give Adwords a try.
